Journals displays financial transactions from a selected journal type that are posted to the General Ledger.
Internal Company – Specify the company from which the data is being reported.
Module – Specify the module from which the data originates.
Status – Specify the status of data to include in the report.
Journal Type – Specify the journal type for data to include in the report.
Journal Number – Specify the range of journal numbers in the From and To fields that represent the journals to include in the report.
Document Date – Optionally, you can select a range of dates in the From and To fields that represent the transaction dates to include. The report will filter on this range of dates.
If you specify document dates, do not also use the Posted Date and/or Period fields. Default values in those fields should be cleared before running the report.
Posted Date – Optionally, you can select a range of dates in the From and To fields that represent the dates the transactions were posted. The report will filter on this range of dates.
If you specify posted dates, do not also use the Document Date and/or Period fields. Default values in those fields should be cleared before running the report.
Session Reference – Optionally, you can enter the session reference information in the From and To fields to filter data. The session reference is an optional field used for the unique identification of a document when it was entered. The report uses standard sorting functionality to determine what is included between the From and To values. Sorting is done by special characters, numbers, and then alphabetically.
Period – Optionally, you can select the fiscal period to report on.
If you specify a fiscal period, do not also use the Document Date and/or Posted Date fields. Default values in those fields should be cleared before running the report.
Summary or Detail – Select Summary to have the transactions summarized by Project ID. Select Detail to display individual transactions.
